Underwriters and brokers are using AI to process increasing amounts of data in real-time, in order to calculate effective insurance pricing and recommend policies. 

For digitally driven consumers, AI enables a fast and seamless but personalised insurance experience.

Our speakers will share their experiences designing and integrating AI, from both an in-house and external provider perspective.

Thérèse Singleton - COO - Ando Insurance

Thérèse has spent over 25 years in insurance and prior to joining Ando she was CEO of Resolution Life New Zealand and Chief Claims Officer of Resolution Life Australasia (formerly AMP Life). Thérèse is admitted as a solicitor and barrister of the High Courts of Ireland, England and New Zealand and is currently a member of the NZ Institute of Directors. She has also been recognised as an exceptional female leader in the industry, having received an Insurance Business NZ Elite Women 2022 award.

Asa Cox - Founder & CEO - Arcanum

Asa Cox is Founder & CEO of Arcanum, an AI company which has developed the Accelerate Platform to integrate Intelligent Features into products with speed and ease. He started the company in Wellington in 2016, leading the team to work with Hnry, ike GPS, UBCO and many others.

Dale Smith - Founder & CEO - JAVLN

Dale joined JAVLN as CEO in 2014. A chartered accountant, he has extensive experience in owning and operating medium-sized businesses. A Co-chair of InsurTechNZ, Dale is passionate about technology and how it can help New Zealand businesses improve productivity.
